| Chris Williams "Dubs" Executive Producer Jerry's Garage Talk |
Well first off let me say that producing JGT is a blast. Jerry and Nick are a
great team and I am very honored to be a part of the garage. I am 28 and
born and raised in Chicagoland. I have 5 awesome brothers and sisters that
I care for a lot and love being around. I was child number 6... yes "The baby"
I began my broadcasting journey in 2000 by attending The Illinois Center for
Broadcasting. I started out as an intern at WAIT-AM and WZSR-FM in Crystal
Lake IL. I got to work with broadcasting legends Wally Phillips and Clark
Weber and fell in love with producing talk radio as a part time/fill in
producer. I also learned the art of audio production (and most everything
else in radio) thanks to Ryan Murphy. I then transferred to Next Media's
sister stations WXLC and WKRS in 2002 and became Production Director
and still run that department today.
Then on a cloudy, cold, rainy day in May of 2005 I asked Jerry if he would be
interested in having a producer for his show. He said, "Whats that?" Ever
since then I have been producing Jerry's Garage Talk and i like to think I
have helped take it to the next level. I really hope you enjoy the show as
much as I do. There is nothing like it out there, I guarantee.
